Thank you for letting us use your beautiful condo. Everything is so tastefully decorated and you seem to have thought of everything a guest could want or need for the perfect vacation. The views from the balcony off the living room and master bedroom are incredible. We spent hours nearly every evening just relaxing and enjoying the sound and sites of the beach just in front of us. The waves lulled us to sleep at night and woke us in the morning- wonderful! And of course the beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed exploring the state park and also Indian Pass. We had a great meal at the Raw Bar and also in Appalachicola at Boss Oyster. Otherwise even though you had lots of info in the townhouse showing more things to do we just relaxed at the beach. Glorious! Thank you Meg and Jim for sharing your place. We would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation right on the beach! Yours Truly, Kim & Brooke Patzner
We just got back from Cape San Blas and we just wanted to let you guys know how much we enjoyed our stay! Even though the weather wasn't that great, we had a blast! We walked on the beach every day, ate great food and even took a snorkel trip. Buddy, our dog, was a little nervous about the waves during the first day, but on the second day he couldn't wait to get to the beach. Thank you guys so much for allowing us to bring him! We are definitely planning on coming back.
Meg & Jim: Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. It was better than described; I just can't say enough great things about it! The view was fantastic and with the ocean being steps out of your back door, it can not be beat! Cape San Blas itself is awesome; no traffic, no noise, very few people - just fantastic all the way around! We will be back for years to come!
Thanks Jason & Tammie! We're so glad you had a great time. Part of the fun of owning a rental home is hearing from our renters and knowing our home provided treasured family memories. Staying at the Cape gives families some real quality time; unlike the crowded Destin/Panama City Beach areas where too much time is spent in traffic, overcrowded beaches and driving around to all the entertainment venues. We'll be glad to welcome you back anytime!
Meg and Jim, We enjoyed our long Labor Day weekend getaway. Tropical storm Lee made the weather cloudy and windy, but the townhome was perfect for us to relax in when the storms rolled in. We loved having the screened in porch and the kids loved the bunk beds. Thanks for all fo the helpful info you sent us. We plan on coming back next summer! Thanks again!
Thanks, Sharon! I thought of you during that weekend and hoped that tropical storm Lee didn't bring too much rain. We're so glad you had such a great time & enjoyed our home. I had meant to send a "welcome home" email but got so busy at work. We really enjoy hearing from our renters; part of the joy in being involved with our property, not just totally turning it over to an agency. Working with Old Saltworks has been a great arrangement. We have gotten to know several of our renters and have many returning. Glad to hear you'll be returing too! Just let us know - you are more than welcome at Sunrise Sunset.
We love to stay on the Cape! This unit was recently renovated and is in very nice condition. The best part is where it is located. You can see the sunrise over the Bay in the morning and spectacular sunsets over the ocea at night. The ocean is literally right out in front of the condo. The only complaint we could find about this unit was that the cleaning crew did not do a really great job getting it prepared for our visit. It was obvious that the floors had not be vacuumed in a while. The counters and the dining room table had not been cleaned in a while as well. Besides that we were very pleased with our stay at this unit on the Cape!
After traveling and vacationing all over the US......we have to say, THIS is our favorite escape! A little piece of untouched perfection! Dolphins swim by daily, the water and beach are so clean......and SO close! The sunsets feel like looking into heaven......and the night stars?! Can't wait to go back! THANKS Meg and Jimi for sharing the majic! Macie & Wayne Massey....and our 4 legged pals Jessie n Otis!
My husband, myself, our Golden Retriever along with two of our friends and their 6 month old baby visited for just under a week and stayed at this little slice of heaven. We were looking for something in the Cape that was directly on the beach and we couldn't have gotten any closer. The location is perfect. Beautiful beach with clear water. We stayed right after Isaac passed through, so the water was pretty choppy, and there was some seaweed that had washed up...but the sand is perfect...white, fine, easy to walk on...and somehow never gets hot to the touch even though it was in the 90's and sunny while we were there. About the condo: When we walked in we were amazed at how large the condo is inside. The interior is updated and very nicely put together, very comfortable too. The views are of course amazing. We watched the sun go down from the large screened in deck or upper back deck off the master bedroom every evening. From the upstairs front bedroom, you can watch the sun rise from the balcony. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough pots and pans and utensils for cooking full meals. Our only complaints were the following: whoever was staying there before us must have not cleansed the dishes properly...the smell from the glasses was terrible. We re-washed everything we planned on using as soon as we got there. There weren't any hand towels downstairs, the only ones provided were one handtowel per upstairs bathroom (2 total). There wasn't any handsoap throughout the entire condo...there were however, an empty soap bottle sitting by every sink...wierd. The charcoal grill was pretty rusted out...but I understand things rust when you are that close to the water. Lastly, the beds...they were very sqeeky and the mattresses very lumpy. However, as soon as you wake up to that ocean view, your aching back quickly resolves! :-) We would stay here a million times more. Despite the negatives, which aren't even that bad, we loved everything about it. Can't beat the price, location, pet friendly atmosphere of the Cape, and getting some COMPLETE relaxation. We are already looking to re-book this place for an even longer trip sometime next year...just hope they get new mattresses by then. ;-) We are looking foward to some more night time beach bonfires!
Amanda, Thank you for your review & we are glad you had such a wonderful time at our beach house. We are very sorry about the cleaning issues & will take that up immediately with our cleaning service. And by the time of your next visit, we hope to have new mattresses. We rely heavily on our guest comments & strive to make any necessary improvements to make a stay at Sunrise Sunset more enjoyable. Hope you'll be returning!
My husband and I brought our 3 girls here this past week ( Feb 2017). We could not get over how beautifully put together this home is. Has everything one needs to be comfortable away from home. We ate meals daily there, kitchen is fully equipped. The views...ahhhh! Cannot say enough about them. We saw dolphins daily from our balcony and beach. Cape San blas is such a relaxing place..no high rises....not crowded...simply perfect. I cannot wait to stay again at this rental. Highly recommend!!!
We were searching for a beachfront pet friendly place to stay in Cape San Blas and this home exceeded our expectations! It has recently been updated and the townhome and property around it was well taken care of. The views from the master sun deck cannot be beat (especially at sunset!!) and the second level screened porch was a perfect beachfront place where we ate most of our meals. Location is great! Short distance to Scallop Cove if you need something quickly and don't want to go into Port St Joe, and the nature preserve across the street has a beautiful sunrise view. Cape San Blas is by far one of our favorite beaches now, absolutely perfect stay and we will definitely return soon!!
